Hydrobond Engineering Limited was formed in 1982
by a team of experienced engineers. The company
was based Aberdeen to enhance its customer base
through sub-sea technology because of the presence
of offshore oil exploration in the North Sea.

The company further increased its capabilities over
the coming years by becoming heavily involved in
Ministry of Defence projects and is now a preferred
supplier of electrical and optical connectors and
penetrators to many defence related companies.
Hydrobond Engineering is now a major national and
international supplier of harsh environment engineered
products to the Oceanographic Industry, Nuclear
Industry, Aquaculture Industry and the Ministry
of Defence.

Scope: Design and manufacture of subsea electrical
connectors, optical connectors, electrical pressure
hull penetrators, optical pressure hull penetrators
and associated subsea electrical and optical cable
terminations. Installation of electrical and optical
connectors. Design and manufacture of specialist
underwater and harsh environment cables.
