STRAIN BEARING CABLES

· Can be used on towed arrays, lift umbilicals and other applications.

· Central strain or braid.

· Various materials e.g., Galvanised steel, stainless steel or Kevlar.

· Strain termination available.

Hydrocable Systems can provide several forms of strain bearing cable.

A central Kevlar strain member is the most common form but Kevlar Braid or Galvanised Steel Wire Armour can also be supplied.

These can be strain terminated to provide strain relief to the cable.
